Business owners and managers can take advantage of a free legal advice day in Whitehaven next week.
Burnetts Solictors’ corporate team will be on hand at the town’s Barclays Eagle Lab at the Bus Station on Friday, June 24, to offer free legal advice on topics including growing a business, buying or selling a firm and day-to-day legal issues.
Michael Walby, corporate partner at Burnetts, will also give a presentation on business exit planning.
He said: “We are really pleased to be providing these sessions to Cumbrian businesses in conjunction with Barclays Eagle Lab. The aim is to give local businesses advice in an informal setting, and the Bus Station is a great setting. One of the subjects I am asked to regularly advise on is exit planning, so I thought it would be a perfect topic to cover in the lunchtime session. I look forward to meeting local businesses and entrepreneurs!”
The event is open to all and pre-booking is not necessary.
