Tourism and hospitality businesses across Cumbria are invited to attend a breakfast briefing next week.
The event on Tuesday will be held at Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake and will highlight how the district councils set to make up the new Cumberland Council – Allerdale, Copeland and Carlisle – support the industry and provide updates.
It will run from 9.30am to noon and will also feature presentations from Nick Lancaster, who runs hospitality and tourism consultancy Lancaster and Lancaster, and director of PR agency, Intro, Nick Turner.
Allerdale council’s leisure and tourism portfolio holder, Councillor Tony Markley, said: “I would like to encourage businesses across Allerdale and further afield to register their attendance for the breakfast briefing and seize the opportunity to listen to several great presentations from a fantastic line-up of expert speakers, to network with their peers, and to better understand what local councils are doing to support them.”
