A leading Cumbrian business group has forged a new relationship with a Turkish organisation.
Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster has signed a memorandum of understanding with NUKSAK, a nuclear focused cluster based in Ankara.
Dianne Richardson, chief executive of the business cluster, said: “Energy security and Net Zero have become more and more important to countries all around the world. Achieving these aims requires collaborative working across an international nuclear supply chain to share expertise, knowledge, capability and capacity.
“Having relationships with similar organisations to ourselves in other countries brings benefits to us and to our respective countries.”
The agreement means that the organisations will identify international opportunities where companies in the groups could work together.
Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster is a membership organisation for the clean energy and nuclear decommissioning supply chain based in the North West.
