A vacant Carlisle restaurant is set to go to auction with a guide price of £35,000.

Bari, on West Tower Street, closed in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Criminals moved in at some point and earlier this year, police raided the premises and found a £500,000 cannabis farm, arresting three people.

Described as derelict, the three-storey property is set to go under the hammer with Auction House on May 25.

The agent said the 3,300sq ft building was suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning approval.
