Ulverston-based public relations agency 32 West has sponsored a new stand at League Two side Barrow AFC.
The 32 West stand – which will be home to travelling fans – was officially unveiled ahead of this weekend’s clash with table-topping Notts County.
The club invested in improving the infrastructure of Barrow’s So Legal Stadium during the summer, as more seated and covered capacity was added.
Company director of 32 West James Higgins said: “Since moving to the area more than 10 years ago, Barrow has been my adopted club and I’ve spent many an hour on the terraces cheering the Bluebirds on.
“Although 32 West has a client base that stretches from London to Scotland, we are keen to support the communities nearest to us and when the chance arose to become a stand sponsor at Barrow AFC, we saw it as another way of signalling our support to our local communities.
“The signage looks fantastic and is in full glare of the TV cameras – so 32West will be reaching audiences far and wide when matches are televised.
“Here’s to hoping we have a good cup run this season!”
Barrow AFC have enjoyed a steady start to the season and currently sit comfortably above the mid-table point in 10th place.
A spokesperson for Barrow AFC said: “We are delighted to welcome 32 West to the Barrow AFC family. You will see the 32 West signage proudly showcased across our new away stand.”
