Kendal Farmers Market’s new website

Leading design agency Scratch Creative has been working with Kendal Farmers Market to create a brand identity and website.

The team behind the town’s farmers market approached Scratch Creative to work with them to develop their ideas and help raise public awareness of the market and lift the profile of the traders who attend on the last Friday of every month come rain or shine.

Jonny Moss, of Scratch Creative, said: ‘’The brand we’ve created with Kendal Farmers is simple but strong, and so it’s a very easy brand to work with and to roll out.

“Everyone involved couldn’t be happier with the end result, and the feedback we’ve received so far has been great, and it’s being received exactly how we hoped it would be.’’

Catherine Connor, chair of Kendal Farmers Market, said: “Farmers markets are such a fantastic way of connecting communities with their local producers and artisans which is one of the main reasons for creating the website, a branded newsletter template, easily identifiable logo and linked social media accounts with Scratch Creative.”

“I’m really excited about the way things have progressed and the direction that Kendal Farmers Market is going in as it continues to grow from strength to strength.

“Kendal Farmers has a long and proud past, but we wanted to bring it into the 21st century and in doing so make people locally and further afield more aware of what’s available on their doorstep.

“At the same time we also wanted to provide a little insight into the people who make Kendal Farmers Market what it is, the producers who attend to sell their artisan crafted food, drink, and gifts whatever the weather. It’s their hard work and dedication that keeps the Market alive and the customers coming into town to buy the goods they produce.’’
