A spa with a facility in Cumbria has been named employer of the year in prestigious industry awards.
Aqua Sana Spa, which operates a spa at Center Parc’s Whinfell Forest, near Penrith, was awarded the accolade at the Professional Beauty Awards 2024.
The winners were announced during a black-tie event in London on Sunday, where more than 600 leading beauty industry figures gathered to celebrate the finalists.
The Professional Beauty Awards are the longest running and best-attended awards for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetic medicine industries, recognising outstanding customer service, treatment delivery and innovation.
The awards are judged by independent industry experts, with every shortlisted salon, spa and clinic interviewed by a member of the judging team.
Aqua Sana Spa employs more than 800 people across six spas in the UK and Ireland, with an employee retention rate of 73%.
