Delkia is attending the American Glovebox Society Conference in Boston.
The Cumbrian specialist engineering and technology company is attending the event from Monday 22 until Thursday 25 July to network and learn about the latest developments in glovebox systems used in a variety of industries, including the nuclear sector.
The company will join US based Central Research Laboratories stand at the event, as Delkia are now their UK distributors for glove ports, transport systems and manipulators.
Beeby Bell, Business Winning Manager for Clean Energy, said: “This is a great opportunity for Delkia to meet up with the CRL team, keep abreast of latest developments in the industry, and meet other visiting UK companies to talk to them about their needs. We’re proud to be working with CRL.”
Delkia has significant expertise in building gloveboxes, supplying 14 for the major Programme and Project Partnership work for the Sellafield Product and Residue Store Retreatment Plant.
In addition, the company has worked on the design and build of specialist glovebox cable assemblies, glovebox junction boxes, lighting panels, and gas service support panels that are used alongside glove boxes.
Beeby added: “I’m looking forward to meeting customers and exploring Boston. This is another great example of Delkia going from strength to strength as the company continues to grow.”
