The co-founder of the Electech Innovation Cluster has been appointed to the North West Business Leadership Team.
Chris Mayne, managing director of Forsberg, has been selected to join the independent business development organisation as part of its digital disruptor initiative which aims to support start-up businesses and help scale-up organisations.
Chris was chosen as the winner of this opportunity due to his leadership skills and innovative approach to business.
Chris’s journey at Forsberg began as an intern in 2003, and he has since risen through the ranks to become managing director in 2020.
His academic background includes a BSc in telecommunications, an MSc in mobile game design, and an MA in professional practice (management and leadership).
In addition to his role at Forsberg, Chris co-founded the Electech Innovation Cluster in the Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, and South Lakes area, supporting economic growth and innovation in the region.
In addition to Chris, Jane Healey Brown from Arup will join the NWBLT to represent Arup within the team. Jane’s involvement with the NWBLT goes beyond her current role as Arup’s representative, as she was previously part of the Rising Stars programme, identifying and nurturing emerging leaders in the North West.
