Cumbria Chamber of Commerce’s annual Directors Forum Summer Social brought members together for an evening of networking at the Lakeside Hotel & Spa.
The event was designed as a relaxed opportunity for networking among some of the region’s top business leaders.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Windermere, attendees enjoyed a delightful array of canapés, drinks, and a special performance by harpist Maxine Molin.
With the sun setting over the lake, conversations flowed as members chatted and networked in the hotel’s picturesque lakeside conservatory. The atmosphere was convivial and welcoming with many new members to the forum in attendance.
Joe Sanders, of Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, updated attendees on current areas of focus for the chamber including the Local Skills Improvement Plan, advocacy work and business support delivery.
Charlotte McMurchie, of Directors Forum sponsor Muckle LLP, also addressed the group on Muckle’s involvement in supporting the Directors Forum since its launch in 2021.
Joe said: “We were thrilled to see so many Directors Forum members come together for our annual summer social, making it a really enjoyable event. Networking is a powerful tool in business and the Chamber prides itself on being able to offer opportunities like this where meaningful connections are made. I’d like to thank Muckle for their continued support of the Directors Forum.”
Charlotte added: “At Muckle, we believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of sharing knowledge. Sponsoring the Directors Forum allows us to contribute to the success of the region by bringing engaging events, industry news, and best practices to the forefront. By working together, we can ensure that our business community thrives.”
