The operators of an award-winning sustainable family business based in Cumbria are set to represent the county at a prestigious show this week.
Jess and Gee Manley from The Yan at Broadrayne will be attending The Independent Hotel Show in London tomorrow.
Billed as the only industry event dedicated entirely to the needs of luxury and boutique hoteliers, the sisters are appearing on a panel of experts which will highlight how sustainability and tourism can work with the aim inspiring others to follow suit.
Jess said: “We’re excited to be representing small Cumbrian hospitality businesses and are hoping to inspire others to begin their sustainability journeys by giving some clarity on the high and lows of our processes to date and how it can positively impact other businesses.
“We want to show how easy it can be to get started, how it can work alongside the time and cost restraints of running your own businesses and celebrate the small wins that will have big impacts when we all get on board.”
