
Topics as varied as future training opportunities, recruitment and collaborations were discussed at the latest breakfast briefing for businesses.
The Forum in Barrow was the venue for the gathering, a joint initiative by Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and Westmorland and Furness Council.
Representatives from Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, Cumbria Tourism, Enterprising Cumbria and the pan-Cumbria Multiplier Project gave an insight into the various business support programmes run that have been funded through UK Shared Prosperity Funding administered by the authority.
Members of Westmorland and Furness Council’s Economic and Regeneration team also attended and gave an update on the economic development planning for the area.
The final briefing event of the year will be held on November 8 at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa Ullswater Road, Penrith, CA11 8QT starting at 7.30am.
