Over 50 people representing businesses across Cumbria attended an event aimed at fostering closer ties within the county’s business community.
Business Bites, run by Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, was held at The Villa near Kendal.
The event is one of a series that is free for both members and non-members and is held in a morning to encourage a wide variety of people to attend.

“We already run evening events but thought a daytime gathering would be an ideal way to reach those who find meetings at the end of the day hard to schedule,” Derek Armstrong from the chamber said. “We’re really pleased with the turnout and look forward to welcoming more to our future events.”
The next daytime Business Bites event will be held at the Lakeside Hotel and Spa at Newby Bridge next month.
