A women’s network is set to launch in Penrith later this year.
Pink Link Penrith officially launches on Tuesday, May 13. Led by Mary Ballard, of Ballard PR, the group will connect female entrepreneurs, professionals, and business owners in a supportive, inspiring, and opportunity-filled environment.
The group will meet each month at Near Howe; a retreat in Mungrisdale.
Fiona Shore, owner of Near Howe and non-executive director at Cumbria Tourism, will share her inspiring journey.
A strategic insight consultant with over 18 years of experience in market research and business strategy, Fiona left corporate life behind to fulfil her dream of running a business in the Lakes.
She knows first-hand the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship. Her insights will be invaluable to women looking to grow and strengthen their own business.
Pink Link is more than just networking – it’s a community, a support squad, and the loudest group of cheerleaders you’ll ever meet.
It’s about women coming together to share experiences, learn from each other, and open doors to new opportunities. Whether you’re launching a startup, scaling your business, or working within a company, Pink Link Penrith will help you make connections that count.
Coral Horn, founder of Pink Link, said: “We are delighted to be working with Mary. She’s a natural networker and a staunch supporter of business in the county. Her passion for helping women connect and succeed makes her the perfect host for Pink Link Penrith.”
Mary added: “Pink Link Penrith like Pink Link Carlisle is going to be more than just a networking group; it’s going to be a vibrant community where women can come together to inspire, support, and elevate each other. I’m excited to see the incredible collaborations and growth that will emerge from this new group. Together, we will achieve remarkable things.”
