A growing Cumbrian vehicle leasing business has announced a new sponsorship partnership with Workington Town.
FlexiRental, part of Lakeland Fleet Management Ltd and based in Carlisle, will provide sponsorship support for the rugby club as part of its wider strategy to strengthen its presence across the region — not just commercially, but through meaningful community partnerships.
The business, which specialises in flexible vehicle leasing solutions for SMEs, contractors and supply chain businesses, has seen steady growth in recent years and is now actively expanding its footprint across West Cumbria.
Daley Rogers, business development and marketing lead at FlexiRental, said: “We’ve always believed that growth should go hand in hand with community.
“As a Cumbrian business expanding further into West Cumbria, it was important for us to partner with an organisation that shares our love for this area.
“Workington Town has big ambitions for the future, and their incredibly successful community foundation shows just how committed they are to making a difference beyond the pitch.
“That really resonated with us. They represent pride, resilience and opportunity in this part of the county — and that’s exactly the kind of organisation we want to stand alongside.”
Graeme Peers, chairman of Workington Town RLFC, added: “Mike and Daley from Flexirental and ourselves have been speaking for a while now and it’s great to get to a starting point for our agreement and we hope it’s a long and mutually successful partnership as Flexirental makes their transition into being a market force in
West Cumbria.
“They’ve been a pleasure to deal with and we hope to support them as they do us in this journey.”
