A senior leader of Cumbria’s Holker Group has been chosen to join a prestigious national programme recognising future leaders in British farming and land management.
Morgan Robinson will take part in the Oxford Farming Conference Inspire Programme, which supports emerging leaders from across the UK’s food and farming sector.
The Inspire Programme gives participants access to the Oxford Farming Conference alongside mentoring, leadership development and networking with senior figures from farming, food production and rural policy.
It is designed to equip the next generation of decision-makers at a time of major change for UK agriculture.
Selection is highly competitive and is seen as a significant endorsement of both individual talent and the organisations they represent.
Morgan’s role at Holker Group involves estate operations and land management across thousands of acres, working closely with farming tenants, conservation teams and rural businesses.
Morgan said: “I’m delighted to have been selected. It’s a real honour and a great opportunity to learn from others working at the forefront of farming and land management, and to bring that knowledge back to Cumbria and Holker.”
