Home Instead North West have scooped a workplace culture award.

A number of the firm’s offices across the region – including the South Lakes office – are celebrating after being named recipients of the highly regarded WorkBuzz 5* Employer Award.

It recognises excellence in employee engagement and workplace culture and is based on independent employee feedback.

The survey recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding dedication to supporting, valuing and investing in their people.

Achieving the status places the North West offices among the top employers for workplace satisfaction and engagement.

Sophie Mellor, owner of both Home Instead South Lakes and Home Instead Preston & South Ribble said: “We are delighted to have achieved this award.

“It’s so important to us as a business and myself personally that my teams feel valued and supported so that they can provide such important care to those who need it most.

“I am incredibly proud of the offices across our network who have achieved this award and the amazing work they deliver every day.

“This award underscores the importance of listening to employee feedback and investing in workplace culture — a focus that remains central for us moving forwards.”

Other North West offices that scooped the award include Knowsley and Liverpool East, Northwich & Knutsford, Preston & South Ribble, Salford and Worsley, Stockport and Wigan.

Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz, said: “At WorkBuzz, we believe that exceptional employee experience deserves to be recognised and celebrated. Our five-star awards stand out because they are not a branding exercise.

“The awards are based on data-driven criteria, and the results are powerful because they come straight from the horse’s mouth — the actual employees of each company who enter.

This award recognises the best workplace cultures where employees are proud to work, are motivated to do more, and want to stay for the foreseeable future.

“It’s a pleasure to partner with organisations that truly care about their employees’ experience and have worked hard to create a culture where their people can thrive.”
