Businesses are invited to book one-to-one sessions with trusted advisers as part of a Cumbria Chamber Discovery Day this month.

The event, on Monday March 31, takes place at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce’s Carlisle offices.

It has been designed to give businesses direct access to practical advice, support and opportunities that could help them strengthen their organisation and unlock new growth.

Rather than attending multiple meetings across different organisations, Discovery Day will bring together the chamber team alongside specialist partners Quest and Westfield Health, allowing businesses to book focused 30-minute conversations around the challenges and opportunities they are currently facing.

Sessions will be available for businesses looking to:

  • Raise their profile and generate new opportunities through Cumbria Chamber of Commerce membership
  • Promote their products and reach new audiences through the Made in Cumbria collective
  • Navigate complex HR and employment law challenges with guidance from Quest
  • Strengthen staff wellbeing, retention and workforce support with insights from Westfield Health
  • Explore leadership development, training and business growth opportunities through Cumbria Growth Hub

Each appointment will be tailored to the individual business, giving attendees the opportunity to sense-check ideas, explore new opportunities and gain practical direction in a structured, professional setting.

Shaun Fitheridge, marketing manager at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, said: “Cumbria Chamber Discovery Day is about giving local businesses direct access to conversations that can genuinely move their organisation forward.

“Whether that’s generating new sales, strengthening leadership capability or navigating employment law with confidence, these sessions are designed to provide practical insight and clear next steps.”

He added: “By bringing the chamber team together with trusted partners such as Quest and Westfield Health in one place, businesses can explore several opportunities in a single visit rather than arranging multiple meetings. For many, that single conversation can unlock the next stage of growth.”

Appointments will run throughout the day and must be booked in advance, with places allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
