Borderway Finance has retained the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for the fifth year in a row.

The motor finance business, based in Carlisle, has helped thousands of people purchase a new car, bike, van, caravan or motorhome.

The Feefo Platinum Award is based entirely on verified customer reviews. Ninety-five per cent of customers who left a review in the last year awarded Borderway Finance the maximum five stars with the remaining five per cent giving a four-star rating.

Mike Deans, managing director of Borderway Finance, said: “Achieving the Platinum Trusted Service Award is the ultimate seal of approval.

“Maintaining our high service rating consistently demonstrates that our customers truly value the consistency and integrity we bring to every interaction. As we move forward into 2026, we remain dedicated to providing the reliable, human-centric service that has become our hallmark.

“We are incredibly proud of our team for setting such a high benchmark for excellence.”

Borderway Finance is wholly owned by the Cumberland Building Society, which has itself received the Feefo Platinum Award six years running.

To achieve platinum status, an organisation must first attain Feefo’s gold standard for three consecutive years.

Feefo established the Trusted Service Awards in 2014 to recognise brands that receive exceptional feedback from their customers.

Tony Wheble, chief executive of Feefo, congratulated Borderway Finance.

He said: “It is a privilege to celebrate companies like Borderway that remain steadfast in their commitment to customer success.

“This award is a testament to their ability to turn genuine feedback into meaningful action.

“By consistently exceeding expectations, Borderway Finance isn’t just winning an award. They are building the long-term trust that defines the most successful brands of the future. We are proud to recognise their dedication to the people they serve.”
