A Cumbrian packing supplier is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Plastic Bottles Company, based in Ulverston, began as a small online venture selling leftover plastic bottles from Julie and Glenn Doherty’s acetone supply business.
It has now grown into one of the UK’s leading online suppliers of plastic bottles, jars, and caps.
Today, the company supports businesses of all sizes across the UK and beyond with high-quality packaging, competitive pricing, and a service designed to make sourcing packaging simple.
While the business was originally founded by Julie and Glenn, it is now led by Julie alongside her daughter Olivia, as warehouse & quality manager and sales director Helen Vanroose-Brydon.
Julie Doherty, director and owner of The Plastic Bottles Company, said: “Reaching 15 years in business is something we’re incredibly proud of.
“It’s been an amazing journey, and none of it would have been possible without the support of our customers, suppliers, and our fantastic team.
“Our focus has always been simple – offer great products, competitive prices, and excellent service.
“We want to make it easy for businesses to source advice and find the packaging they need, whether they’re just starting out or producing at scale.”
As the business celebrates its 15th anniversary, The Plastic Bottles Company said it planned to continue expanding its range, investing in sustainable packaging options and improving the services it offers customers.
