A South Cumbrian solicitors has been shortlisted for an award.
Milne Moser Solicitors, which has offices in Kendal and Milnthorpe, has been nominated for the Workplace Wellbeing Award at the Modern Law Private Client Awards 2026.
The awards celebrate excellence across private client practice, recognising the individuals, teams and firms delivering the highest standards of service and innovation.

Milne Moser said: “Wellbeing at Milne Moser is embedded at every level. Earlier this year we opened a dedicated Wellbeing Room, a confidential space offering talking therapy, regular massage sessions and quiet reflection.
“Staff have also taken part in dedicated Wellbeing Days covering mental health, menopause, stress management and yoga, as well as training from a sports nutritionist and a visit from personal trainers focused on cardiovascular health.
“Managers have completed mental health awareness and supportive leadership training, equipping them to recognise stress or burnout early and respond with empathy.
Justine Allen, managing partner, said: “Being shortlisted for this award means a great deal to everyone at the firm.
“Wellbeing is not something we talk about at appraisals and then set aside. It shapes the decisions we make every day, from how we structure workloads to the environment we have created for our team to work in.
“Being a close-knit team means we can be genuinely responsive to the people who work here.
“When someone tells us something would make a difference, we can act on it. We are incredibly proud of the culture we have built and of every member of the team who has contributed to it.”
The Modern Law Private Client Awards ceremony takes place on July 1.
