Carlisle’s Story Decorating Group has won a prestigious award for its work on football side Everton’s iconic home.
At the Johnstone’s Painter of the Year Awards, which celebrates businesses across the UK and Ireland, it won the Stadium Hospitality Category for its work on the the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.
Story said it undertook a complex and demanding decoration package that spanned the stadium’s core infrastructure and its premium hospitality spaces.
Within the Western side fit-out, Story delivered specialist finishes within 16 unique hospitality zones including the owners’ box, private boxes, a sponsors’ lounge, restaurants, bars and pubs.
The firm said: “Each space had a bespoke design concept incorporating a range of premium paint systems, luxury wallcoverings and bespoke digital prints that were meticulously applied to create a real wow factor.”
Claire Story, associate director of Story Decorating Group, said: “This award recognises the level of commitment, technical ability and sheer hard work that went into the project.
“The success of the project stands to demonstrate our capabilities for delivering quality at scale, building strong partnerships, and maintaining exacting standards even in the most complex of environments.
“We’re extremely proud of everyone that worked on Everton and the end result truly speaks for itself!”
