The Falls Spa

The Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa welcomed visitors to their first open evening for the newly opened Falls Spa.

The event, took place on November 15th, revealing the highly anticipated state-of-the-art spa. With over 100 people in attendance, the evening provided the perfect opportunity to start the countdown to Christmas, full of ideas and inspiration for presents, with a guided tour of the luxurious spa.

Guests experienced the unique Akwaterra massage by artisanal spa brand La Sultane de Saba. The Falls Spa is the only spa in the north of the country to offer the treatment, a full-body experience using ceramic ergonomic Akwaterra tools filled with hot water used to relax and rejuvenate.

Throughout the night, guests entered a prize draw for the chance to win a spa day for two, with local B&B owner Denise Wickham announced as the lucky winner. Special offers were also available on the night, giving guests the chance to be some of the first to try the spa for themselves.

Davina Hassell, The Falls Spa manager, was proud to introduce visitors to the spa, she said ‘We’ve been hard at work making sure that the Spa is a first-class facility for luxury treatments. It really is the perfect spot for guests to relax and recharge in the heart of the Lakes’.

After exploring the state-of-the-art thermal suite and infinity edge vitality pool, guests were encouraged to sit with a glass of prosecco from the exclusive Champagne Bar and soak up the calming atmosphere and Scandi-inspired design. Fran Niedt, a local lady who attended the open evening commented, “Beautiful spa with fabulous treatment rooms & a range of steam rooms. The spa has everything you need to relax and unwind, an amazing setting with stunning pool & views. It’s absolutely the place to visit for a treat and you would think you were in the Swiss Alps!”

The Falls Spa is part of a multi-million-pound investment in the Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa and follows the refurbishment of the hotel’s ground floor and recent opening of the new Pan-Asian restaurant, Mizu.
