
An associate director has been appointed by H&H Land & Estates.
Chartered surveyor Janet Flintoft has been promoted to the role.
Janet, of Raughton Head, has been with the company for a number of years.
Originally from a farming family in Yorkshire, Janet graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in rural enterprise and land management and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

“She has consistently demonstrated a high level of professional expertise, alongside a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our clients.
“Her ability to combine practical farming knowledge with strategic advice makes her an invaluable part of the team. Janet is also a strong leader within the business, and I know she will continue to play a key role in supporting both our clients and the ongoing development of our team.”
Janet lives with her husband and three sons on a working dairy farm, where they milk around 250 cows alongside running beef cattle and Texel-cross ewes. .
In her role, Janet supports clients across Cumbria and the Scottish Borders with services including farm sales, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, asset appraisals and strategic business and planning advice.
Janet said: “I am delighted and honoured to be promoted. Having grown up in farming, and now working closely with rural businesses across the region, I am passionate about supporting clients through both the challenges and opportunities they face.
“In recent months, I have focused on strengthening relationships across the business and expanding our presence across Cumbria and southern Scotland. I look forward to building on this momentum, continuing to develop my role, and supporting our clients with practical, forward-thinking advice.”
